Tim Murphy, AB ’07, a 13-year veteran of Capital One, is the CFO for the commercial real estate business in Capital One’s Commercial Bank, and now brings his skills and experience to the Eliot Society as the first chair of the Benefactors Committee to reside outside of St. Louis.

Andrew Simon, AB ’63, is a fierce advocate for Washington University. While he studied political science as an undergrad, he is an entrepreneur who built new divisions for corporate America and founded a leading company in the K-12 high-stakes assessment business. He now works with his wife, Andi, at her company, Simon Associates Management Consultants, coaching companies in culture change, innovation, and creative leadership.

In addition to 20 years of chairing and co-chairing the Eliot Society Arts & Sciences committee, Barb Bindler, AB ’65, is a board member of the Washington University Woman’s Club and of the Women’s Society; she has co-chaired many class reunion committees, including the committee for her 50th reunion; and she is the past president of Women and the Kemper.
